Bishop I.V. Hilliard/Founder

Bishop Ira V. Hilliard, a native Houstonian, was called at the age of nine to preach God’s Word. Having waited one year so that his pastor would know he heard from God, Ira Hilliard preached his first sermon on a Mother’s Day night at the age of ten. He married the beautiful Bridget E. Harrison on October 4, 1975, who has co-labored with him in building a dynamic ministry that is recognized around the world.

This dynamic couple co-founded the outstanding New Light Christian Center Church (“One Church, Multiple locations”) in North, East, West and South Houston; Beaumont and Austin, Texas. Their passion to take God’s Word to a hurting and lost generation has resulted in a current church membership of over 20,000 and counting. New Light Christian Center Church is not only recognized around the country as a Mega-Church, but in September 2007 it was honored as one of the Top 50 Most Influential Churches in America.

This Mega-Church also has a nationwide television ministry, a satellite network, an Aviation Division, Light Commerce Credit Union, and an early childhood development center known as Light Christian Academy.

In 1995, after a mandate from God many years prior, Bishop Hilliard started Church Development Strategies Conference. Thousands of Pastors and leaders come to Houston annually to sit at his feet to learn church strategies, growth and development principles. The conference, now branded as Strategies Conference, is recognized as one of the best conferences of its kind in the country.

After a strong witness from God in 2001, Bishop Hilliard developed an organization of Pastors who either see him as a spiritual father or mentor. This organization is called the Association of Independent Ministries (A.I.M.). AIM currently has 1,200 Pastors and is growing daily. A Pastor to Pastors and a man after God’s heart, Bishop Hilliard was confirmed as a Bishop in the Lord’s Church in February 2007.

Pastor Bridget Hilliard/Founder

Bridget E. Hilliard was born the third child to the late O.C. and Jewell Harrison of Houston, Texas on March 12, 1956. On October 4, 1975, Bridget married Ira Van Hilliard.

Nathan Williams/General Manager

Nathan E. Williams Sr. is a 30 year veteran of Christian radio and television. In 1983 God spoke and said "You will preach the gospel!" It was at this point ministry began a progressive ascent. He is a graduate of Texas A & M Commerce with a double major; Music and a Bachelor of Science degree in Radio/TV.

A total of six television stations, four radio stations, and a fortune 500 corporate Leadership Center define the history of his employment. Christ for the Nations was the choice for Nathan Williams's undergraduate studies and Houston Graduate School of Theology for graduate work.

All aspects of broadcasting have been experienced from production to sales to engineering to hosting and additionally management's top position of General Manager for the Daystar Television Network.

A marriage of 39 years to Cherilyn Williams is Minister Williams' greatest achievement. Nathan E. Williams Sr. was inducted into the Broadcasters Hall of Fame in Akron, Ohio of 2011.
